TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS

To achieve efficiency and economic strength in production, it is not enough just to have the best machines. To fully capitalize on all economic opportunities, the entire process must be analyzed and all its aspects must be optimally coordinated.

Increasing employee knowledge. An important contribution to a company’s success is well-trained, expert employees. After all, when it comes down to it, any technology is only as good as the people who operate it. We support you with our extensive training – from the ground rules through to tips and tricks for experts. Use our extensive expertise and equip yourself and your employees with decisive knowledge.

BASIC TRAINING

Presses with ServoDirect Technology are characterized by user-programmable movement sequences, and can be used for various processes. However, the benefits of the process can only be fully capitalized if theory and practice optimally complement one another.

The basic training course provides instruction in important aspects of ServoDirect Technology and theoretically presents the subsequent machine in detail – from its structure with explanations of individual components and modules through to an insight into operation and functions.

Contents:
  • ‚Basic principles of press drives
  • Introduction to ServoDirect Technology
  • Structure and function of servo presses
  • Practical experience from the press shop
  • Introduction to process optimization
  • Duration: 0.5 days
  • Training location: At the customer’s facility
  • Target group: Machine operators, setters, maintenance personnel, work preparation technicians, die designers and sales staff
OPERATOR TRAINING

Operator training facilitates the startup phase and everyday operation of your servo press. Operators learn all they need to know about your machine in their own working environment or, alternatively, at Schuler. They find out how they can use ServoDirect Technology in everyday work.

This ensures proper operation right from the start and leads to greater productivity and efficiency. Operator training courses that build on basic training focus on the main operating elements of the servo press and their practical applications. An experienced trainer explains the visualization system and operating modes of the servo press in theory and practice. The primary objective is to achieve quick and safe mastery of the machine, for a smooth production start.

MAINTENANCE

Regular maintenance and servicing are essential for stable and trouble-free production. Have the machines been checked correctly? Are all the settings right? The two-day maintenance training courses take a close look at all important mechanical and electrical parts of the machine. The focus is directed towards all special aspects of the machine, components and spare parts that need to be changed regularly, as well as the technical documentation. All aspects of maintenance are considered in a technical discussion.
